Utility Name

SET

specifies that the SET function is to be invoked.

Parameters

SET ACS Esoteric

ACSDRV

specifies that the esoteric for the specified ACS is to be changed. The change does not take effect until the relevant HSC(s) are recycled.

Note: The ACSDRV parameter has no effect in the operation of the VM/HSC. The utility may still be used to set this parameter for MVS systems sharing this CDS.

(esoteric)

specifies a 1- to 8-character esoteric that represents all of the drives in the specified ACS.
