How Information is Logged

The HSC periodically retrieves the statistics for robotics motions begun and temporary errors from the LMU. This information is logged to SYS1.LOGREC as software errors as shown in the Table 67. This record is a valid ‘‘Initiated and Temporary Error Motion Software Error Record’’ only under the following circumstances:

if the Record Type Field (bytes 642-643) has value X’6506’ and

the StorageTek identifier (X’FEEDFACE’ at bytes 644-647) is present.

Such a record is called an LLG6 record. Refer to Appendix C, “Record Formats” on page 497 to see the record layout for LLG6.
