Confirmation Options

This feature automatically prints a report after each fax transmission indicating the transmission result.

1.Select [Confirmation Options] on the [Fax Options] screen.

2.Select the required option.

3.Select [Save].

No Report

Disables the feature.

Print Report

Automatically prints a report after each fax transmission is completed.

Starting Rate

This feature allows you to select the communication mode for fax transmissions.

1.Select [Starting Rate] on the [Fax Options] screen.

2.Select the required option.

3.Select [Save].

G3 Auto

Select this mode if the remote machine is G3 compatible. This mode is the one usually selected. The machine automatically switches modes depending on the capabilities of the remote machine.

Forced 4800 bps

Select this mode when transmitting over noisy or bad telephone lines, for example when sending international faxes. Can also be useful for transmitting over poor telephone lines domestically.

Priority Send/Delay Start

This feature allows you to set the priority and start time for fax and polling jobs. Although you can set [Delay Start] in combination with [Priority Send], a fax will be sent at the time specified using the [Delay Start] option.

1.Select [Priority Send/Delay Start] on the [Fax Options] screen.

2.Select the required options.

3.Select [Save].
