Using the Print Settings
Locating the print settings
Two of the ways you can locate the print settings are described below.
Note: There are other ways to locate the print settings, but the paths are specific to the Windows version you’re running – Windows 3.1 or Windows 95. Refer to your Windows documentation for instructions.
•From within your Window’s software programs. Use this method to make temporary (per job) changes to the settings. Typi- cally, you first select Print or Print Setup from the File menu of your software program, then select Setup. However, each software program determines the path you need to take through its menus and printer setup dialog box in order to display the print settings.
•From the HP OfficeJet Manager. Use this method to change the factory (default) settings, which will be applied to all print jobs until you change the setting.
Using the Paper tab settings
Use the Paper tab to change the paper orientation, the paper size, the paper type, the sequence of the pages, and the number of copies.
For detailed information about each setting, click the Help button at the bottom of the dialog box, then click the Reference tab.
