Drum motor (M2)

Before proceeding, remove the following components:

●Toner collection unit. See Toner-collection unit on page 91.

●Right-front cover and control-panel assembly. See Right-front cover and control-panel assembly on page 113.

●Left cover. See Left cover on page 115.

●Rear cover. See Rear cover on page 116.

●Toner collection unit access door. See Toner collection unit access door on page 117.

●Right-rear cover. See Right-rear cover on page 119.

●Top cover. See Top cover on page 121.

●Toner cover. See the first and second steps of Residual toner full sensor on page 152.

Remove the drum motor

Disconnect one connector (callout 1), remove four screws (callout 2), and then remove the motor (callout 3).
