NOTE	The web server conﬁgured in the
	/etc/hpldc/webstone/conf/server-list ﬁle must be running before
	the HP LDControl daemon is started.

Starting and Stopping the HP LDControl Daemon

The HP LDControl daemon can be started and stopped from the LD Control web page (Figure 6-2, "HP LDControl Page"). Select “Start/Stop Daemon” from the side menu. A page similar to the following (Figure 6-5, "HP LDControl Start/Stop Daemon Page") displays. (What is displayed depends on the status of the HP LDControl daemon: running or not running):

To start or stop the HP LDControl daemon from the command line, type:

/opt/hpldc/bin/ldc_agt

The web server conﬁgured in the /opt/hpldc/webstone/conf/server-listﬁle must be running before the HP LDControl daemon is started.
