How WebQoS Fits Into Your Environment

WebQoS Components

WebQoS comprises a number of components that perform priority-based resource management and service request handling. (See Table 1-1, “WebQoS Components.”) In addition, management components allow you to configure WebQoS for the systems on which it is installed as well as define the service level objectives (SLOs) and threshold policies that are important to your business. (For an explanation of SLOs, refer to “Service Level Objectives for Site” on page 158.)

Note that not all components are required on every WebQoS-enabled system. Refer to Figure 1-2, "Request and Management Data Flow", to understand how these components fit into the WebQoS picture.
