IT/Operations
HP OpenView IT/Operations (ITO) is designed to detect, solve, and prevent problems occurring in networks, systems, and applications. ITO templates are provided with WebQoS which help you monitor WebQoS service events, statistics, and status. These instructions explain how to install the templates, how to customize them (if desired), and how to interpret the alarms that appear in the ITO Message Browser.
The diagram below shows the flow of data to the ITO Event Monitor from the WebQoS management system and the WebQoS managed system. The ITO agent monitors the site and service statistics files, processes the data, and formats the fields as specified in the ITO template.
