PRV-9000 Operating Instructions

Changing the format erases existing disc content.

Within the recording modes (fixed for the entire disc), are record settings for determining picture quality and duration preferences. These settings are alterable for each recording session as long as the mode remains the same.

When recording in VR format, select the recording mode, SP (standard) or MN (manual).

SP – fixed recording quality and recording time

total time maximum of 120 minutes

MN – trade off recording quality for additional recording time

recording levels range from Level 1 (360 minutes per disc) to Level 32 (61 minutes per disc)

Default Level 9 (240 minutes/disc)

Note: SP is equivalent to MN Level 22.
