1.2.1Inserting Batteries in the Remote Control
Follow the directions to insert the provided batteries in to the remote control.
1.Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2.Insert two AA/R6P batteries in to the compartment following the positive/negative indicators within the chamber.
3.Close the cover.
Installing the batteries incorrectly can result in damage to the batteries and the remote control. Damaged batteries may leak or burst. Please observe the following guidelines:
Avoid mixing new and old batteries - replace all batteries simultaneously.
Use batteries of the same voltage.
Align batteries according to the charge symbols (+,
Remove batteries from a disused remote control (idle for a month or more).
Dispose of batteries according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
1.2.2Using the Remote Control
When using the remote control, follow these guidelines.
Avoid using a remote control if there is direct sunlight or strong fluorescent light shining directly on the unit’s sensor.
Confirm that there are no obstacles between the remote control and the sensor on the recorder.
Avoid using remotes for other equipment located close to the recorder.
Replace the batteries if there is a falling off of operating range.
