3. Enter the title/chapter/track number or the time (H, MM, SS).
Numbers enter from the right to the left thus the first number entered appears on the far right (SS) then is forced towards the left (H) field with each number added.
Title: enter the number – Title 2 = 2
Chapter/Track: enter the number(s) – Chapter 12 = 1, 2
Time: enter the entire number including zeros when appropriate
–45 minutes in to material = 4, 5, 0, 0
–1 hour, 15 minutes, 20 seconds = 1, 1, 5, 2, 0
4.Press PLAY or ENTER to begin playback.
Note: If searching by frame, the recorder pauses on the specified frame and waits for a PLAY or other command before continuing.

If Frame Search is ON, add a frame number to the end of the time search. The frame number needs to be between 0 and frame 24 for the U.S. standard NTSC (30 frames/per second) video. For example, 22 minutes, 10 seconds and 5 frames is entered as 2, 2, 1, 0, 0, 5.
When using Frame Search with film material, the recorded rate is 24 frames/per second. The difference between the NTSC video rate of 30/fps and film’s 24/fps may cause an exact frame search to fail. Film’s playback rate causes frame- count inaccuracies.
