Command Description
This command refers to the GSM supplementary service CLIP (Calli ng Line Identification Presentation) that
enables a called subscriber to get the calling line identity (CLI) of the calling party when receiv ing a mobile ter-
minated call.
Write command enables or disables the presentation of the CLI at the TE. It has no effect on the e xecution of the
supplementary service CLIP in the network.

2 CLI is not available due to interworking problems or limitations of originating
network. <number> shall be an empty string ("") and <type> value will not be
significant.
When CLI is not available ( <CLI validity>=2), <number> shall be an empty string ("") and <type> value
will not be significant. Nevertheless, TA shall return the recommended value 128 for <type> (TON/NPI
unknown in accordance with GSM 04.08 subclause 10.5.4.7).
When CLI has been withheld by the originator, (<CLI validity>=1) and the CLIP is provisioned with the
"override category" option (refer GSM 02.81 and GSM 03.81), <number> and <type> is pr ovided. Otherwise,
TA shall return the same setting for <number> and <type> as if the CLI was not available.
