12.19 AT^SMGL List SMS messages from preferred store without set-ting status to REC READ
Syntax
Command Description
The execute command is the same as the write command, but uses the given defau lt of <stat>.
The write command allows to select a status type and lists, from the message s torage <mem1>, all messages
that currently have the specified <stat>. The major difference over the standar d command AT+CMGL is that the
status of the listed messages remains u n c h a n g e d (unread remain s unread).
Notes
The selected <mem1> can contain different types of SMs (e.g. SMS-DELIVERs, SMS-SUBMITs, SMS-STA-
TUS-REPORTs and SMS-COMMANDs), the response may be a mix of the responses of different SM types.
TE application can recognize the response format by examining the third response parameter.
This command can be used only after the SMS data from the SIM have bee n read successfully for the first
time. Reading starts after successful SIM authentication has been performed, and m ay take up to 30 seconds
depending on the SIM used. While the read process is in progress, an attem pt to use any of the sms read
commands will result in ''+CME Error: 14'' (SIM busy)
