Command Description

The ME is set to a particular mode of operation (data, fax). This causes the MA to process information in a man- ner suitable for that type of information.

1	Fax class 1 (EIA/TIA-578-A, Service Class 1)

•Using Error Correcting Mode (ECM) when sending FAXes over GSM should be avoided
