11.6 AT+FCLASS Fax: Select, read or test service class
Syntax
Command Description
The ME is set to a particular mode of operation (data, fax). This cau ses the MA to process information in a man-
ner suitable for that type of information.
Parameter Description
[0](&F) data (e.g. EIA/TIA-602 or ITU V.25ter)
1 Fax class 1 (EIA/TIA-578-A, Service Class 1)
2 Fax class 2 (EIA/TIA SP-2388, an early draft version of EIA/TIA-592-A - Ser-
vice class 2.1)
Notes
• Using Error Correcting Mode (ECM) when sending FAXes over GSM should be avoided
