Place only the audio portion of a clip in a sequence:

Place only the audio portion of a clip in a sequence:

1Click the a1 and a2 Source controls for the audio tracks again to reconnect them to their Destination controls. This allows the audio portion of a clip to be placed in the sequence.

2Click the v1 Source control to disconnect it from the V1 Destination control.

3Press the End key to move the playhead to the end of the sequence.

4Drag Sample Clip 1 from the Viewer to the Overwrite section of the Canvas Edit Overlay to see that only the clip’s audio is placed in the Timeline.
