	Defining Wireless Coverage Areas 135
Accessing the Define	You access the Define Coverage page using the Building wizard. Follow
Coverage Page	these steps.

1Open the Building wizard. See “Accessing the Building Wizard” on page 95.

2Click Plan RF Coverage at the top of the wizard. The Plan RF Coverage page appears.

Creating a Wiring A wiring closet is a room that contains networking devices, such as Closet switches. If you have an existing wiring closet, you can draw it on the

floor layout.

If you have previously installed WX switches and defined them in 3WXM, you can place them in the wiring closet and specify them as switches to be used when 3WXM calculates how many MAP access points are required. If you do not have any WX switches placed in the wiring closet, 3WXM automatically creates and configures the switches that are needed.
