3In the AP Model list, select one of the following:

„AP (Dual Radio) — 802.11a and 802.11b or 802.11b/g

„AP (Single Radio) — 802.11a, 802.11b, or 802.11g

4Select one of the following: 11a, 11b, 11g.

The choices available depend on the selection you made in step 3.

5In the Name box, type a name for the access point. You can use 1 to 32 characters, with no punctuation except the following: period (.), hyphen (-), or underscore (_).

6Optionally, in the Manufacturer ID box, type the manufacturer identification for the access point (1 to 30 characters, with no spaces).

7In the Product ID box, type the product identification for the access point (1 to 30 characters, with no spaces).

8In the IP Address box, type the IP address for the access point.

If you specify an IP address, you can use Telnet and a Web browser with this access point.

9In the Telnet Port Number box, specify the port number for Telnet service.

10In the HTTP Port Number box, specify the port number for HTTP service.

11In the Floor list, select the floor on which the access point is located. The list shows the floors you created.
