6To change the UDP port number on which the WX switch will listen for RADIUS access-requests from the AP, edit the number in the Authentication Port box.

7To change the UDP port number on which the WX switch will listen for RADIUS stop-accounting records from the AP, edit the number in the Accounting Port box.

8Type the key, which is the shared secret configured on the RADIUS servers. MSS uses the shared secret to authenticate and encrypt RADIUS communication.

9Click Finish to close the wizard and save the changes.

To configure a port as a RADIUS proxy for an SSID

1Access the Modify WX Switch wizard for the switch. (“Accessing the WX Switch Wizard” on page 187.)

2Select AAA at the top of the wizard, if not already selected.

3Select 802.1Q Mapping from the organizer list on the left side of the page, if not already selected.

4Click New 802.1Q Mapping. The Create 802.1Q Mappings wizard appears.

5In the Physical Port List group box, click Choose Available to select the list of WX physical ports to which the third-party AP is connected. The Physical Port Selection dialog box appears.

a Select one or more ports. To make multiple selections, press Shift (for contiguous items) or Control (for noncontiguous items) while clicking items.

b Click Close.

6Edit the value in the Tag box to match the 802.1Q tag value in packets from the third-party AP. Specify the tag value that the third-party AP will use for the SSID you plan to select from the SSID drop-down list.

7Select the SSID from the SSID drop-down list.

8Click Finish to close the wizard and save the changes.
