Configuring Radio Attributes

To configure radio attributes:

1In the Create Third-Party AP wizard, after placing a third-party access point, click Next.

2Verify the radio slot number and radio type.

For a dual-radio access point, 802.11b/g radios have a slot number of 1. 802.11a radios have a slot number of 2.

3In the MAC Address box, type the MAC address of the radio.

4To enable the radio, select Enabled.

The access point’s radio must be enabled in order to be considered in channel allocation.

5In the Transmit Power box, specify the transmit power for the radio.

6In the Antenna Gain list, select the antenna gain for the radio.

7In the Channel Number list, select the channel number for the radio.
