Switching the Command Information Line On/Off

This is similar to the TTI On/Off switching option for Group 3 Transmission (see page 64).

The Command Information Line consists or the Receiver and Transmitter Terminal IDs, the Date and Time, and the Page Number. Normally, this line is printed at the top of each of the pages you transmit when they are received at the other end.

The top of the image will be overprinted if there is no margin at the top of the transmitted page.

In some cases, you may wish the other party to receive an unmarked copy of your original. In this case, you can switch the Command Information Line off.

Note: If you switch the Command Information Line off, make sure that Label In

-

sertion is also off if you want the image received at the other end to be un

-

marked.

 

To switch this feature on or off, do the following. (See page 10 if you need more

 

information about the User Parameter settings adjustment procedure).
