Using the Remote Commander

In Step 2, press z REC and MARK simultaneously, then immediately press X. In Step 4, press X at the scene where you want to start recording from.

Note on the Remote Commander

Your camcorder works in the commander mode VTR 2. Commander modes 1, 2 and 3 are used to distinguish your camcorder from other Sony VCRs to avoid erroneous remote control operation. If you use another Sony VCR in the commander mode VTR 2, we recommend changing the commander mode or covering the sensor of the VCR with black paper.

Note

Your camcorder only records pictures for viewing on a PAL system-based TV and VCR. See “Using your camcorder abroad” on page 278 for the TV colour systems used in each country and area.

Remarque sur la télécommande

Le caméscope utilise le mode de télécommande VTR 2. Les modes de télécommande 1, 2 et 3 permettent de distinguer le caméscope d’autres magnétoscopes Sony et d’éviter les interférences de télécommande. Si vous utilisez un autre magnétoscope Sony avec le mode de télécommande VTR 2, il est préférable de changer le mode de télécommande ou de masquer le capteur infrarouge du magnétoscope avec du papier noir.
