5In addition to designating the correct paper weight for Tray 3, select Nonstandard or Standard paper and Coated or Uncoated paper.

6Close the tray slowly to avoid shifting the paper stack.

Key point: If you hear paper being crumpled or torn, stop closing the tray. Remove all pieces of any damaged paper and close the tray slowly.
