Switch Integration Device Problems
The SID does not power on.
Possible Reason: | The power cord connection may be loose or not |

| completed. |

Remedy: | Make sure the power cord is firmly plugged into the |
|
|
| wall outlet and the SID. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Possible Reason: | The wall outlet may not have power. |
|
|
Remedy: | Make sure the circuit breaker for the wall outlet is on. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Possible Reason: | The SID power switch may be set to the OFF position. |
|
|
Remedy: | Turn the SID power switch to the ON position. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Possible Reason: | The SID may have a bad fuse. |
|
|
Remedy: | Check the fuse on the SID. |
|
|
|
|
| |
Nothing appears on the LCD display. |
|
| |
|
|
|
|
Possible Reason: | You may need to adjust the LCD contrast. |
|
|
Remedy: | Refer to Chapter 8, "Switch Integration Device |
|
|
| Administration" for instructions on adjusting the LCD |
|
|
| contrast. |
|
|
|
|
| |
Calls are not integrated. |
|
| |
|
|
|
|
Possible Reason: | The cables between the SID and the INTUITY System |
|
|
| may not be connected correctly. |
|
|
Remedy: | Refer to Chapter 4, "Hardware Installation", and check |
|
|
| the cable connections. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Possible Reason: | The INTUITY System may not be administered |
|
|
| correctly. |
|
|
Remedy: | Check the administration of the system using Chapter 6 |
|
|
| of this document. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Possible Reason: | The SID may be administered incorrectly. |
|
|
Remedy: | Refer to Chapter 8, "Switch Integration Device |
|
|
| Administration", and check the administration of the |
|
|
| system. Make sure the channels and extensions are |
|
|
| configured correctly. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Possible Reason: | The baud rate for the |
|
|
| connection may not be set correctly. |
