Edit button
Selecting one of the d efault chains and pressing the Edit b utton opens the Edit Chai n dialog
box.
Only the policy can be ed ited for a default chain. The o ptions are ACCEPT and DROP.
NOTE: User-defined chainscannot be edited. If a user -defined chain isselected for editing, an error message is
displayed.If this message appears, clickOK to continue.
Delete button
If one of the user-defined chains is selected an d the Delete button is pressed, the ch ain is
deleted.
NOTE: Defaultchains cannot be deleted. If one of the de fault chainsis selected and the Delete button is pr essed,
anerr or message isdisplayed. If this messageapp ears, clickOK to continue.
Add button
If the Add button is pressed, the Add Chai n dialog box appears.
Adding a chain o nly creates a named en try for the chain. Ru les must be configured for the
chain after it is added to the list of chai ns.
Edit Rules button
If the Edit Rules bu tton is pressed, a form appears with a list of headings.
• Pressing th e Add button opens th e Add Rule dialo g box.
• Select ing a rule and pressing the Edit bu tton opens the Ed it Rule dialog box.
• Select ing a rule and pressing the Up or D own buttons moves the rule up and down t he list.
