Avocent PM PDUs will di splay the Outl et Name, Post On Delay , Post Off Delay, Current High
Critical Threshold, Current High Wa rning Threshold, Current Low Warning Threshold and
Current Low Critical Threshold.

SPC power devices wi ll display the Outlet Name, Minimum On Time, Minimum Off Time an d
Wake State.
ServerTech IPDUs will displ ay Outlet Name, Post O n Delay and W ake State.
To view status,lock, unlock, rename or cycle poweroutlets:
NOTE: For a group of outlets, the Cycle button operates only if alloutlets of the grou p are turned ON.
1. Select Expert -Applicatio ns - IPDU Power Mgmt. - Ou tlets Manager. The O utlets Manager
screen appears with each IPDU listed.
2. Click the Show but ton associated wit h the IPDU whose o utlets you wan t to manage. A list
of outlets ap pears.
3. To switch an outlet (or an outl et group) on or off,click i ts light bulb icon.
NOTE: For Avocent SPC power devicesor Server T echnologyIPDU s,an aler t window prompts you that you may
needto r efresh your browser to view the change in the Outlets Manager. ClickOK and continue.
4. To lock or unlock an out let (oran o utlet group), click its padlock icon .
NOTE: The outlet lockingfunction is available on Avocent PM PDUs and Cyclades IPDUs only.
5. To cycle pow er to an outl et, click the ad jacent Cycle button.
6. To change the out let’s name or other values for the outlet, click t he adjacent Edit button.
The Edit Outlet d ialog box appears.
a. To change th e name assigned to the outlet, ent era n ew name in the Outlet Name field.
Names must begin with a letter. Valid ch aractersare letters, numbers, dash (-) and
underscore (_).
b. To change the out let configuration, change t he value in the field.
NOTE: Anoutlet name should not be changed if the new out letname is used elsewhere.
7. Click OK.
8. Click the Save Outlets S tate button (saves ou tlet states to the IPDU only).
9. Click apply changes.
