c.Enter the IP address of the router through which the host’s packets reach the Internet in the NextHop fields.

SNMP
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is a set of protocols for managing complex networks. SNMP works by sending messages called protocol data units (PDUs) to different parts of a network.
The console server’s SNMP agent supports SNMPv1/v2 and v3. To use SNMP v1 or v2, you need to specify a community name, a source IP address or a range of IP addresses, an object ID (OID) and permission
You can enable notifications about significant events or traps from the console server to an SNMP management application, such as HP Openview, Novell NMS, IBM NetView or Sun Net Manager.
