Specify groups of outl ets using the follow ing format:
IPDU_ID[outlets]
Where IPDU_ID is the name configured for the IPDU (such as il A)an d outlets are numbers
separated with commas or with dashes (to indica te arang e),as in the follo wing example:
ilA[1,2,5-15]
You can assign outlet sfrom more than one IPDU to a group by usin g commasto sep aratet hem.
The following example d efines an outlet group for two IPDUs, one named ilA an d the other
ilB:
ilA[1,5-8],ilB[1,3,4]

To configurean outlet group:
1. Click the Add but ton. The Add/Edit Outlet Groups di alog box app ears.
2. In the Group field, enter the n ameo fth e group you want to add or edit the ex isting name.
3. In the Outlets field, add the IPDU ID followed by the spe cific outlets to assign to the
group in bracke ts. Fore xample, i1A[1,5-8] creates a group o f outlets numbered 1, 5 , 6, 7
and 8 on IPDU ID ilA. You can assign more than one IPDU to the grou p,w ith a comma
between each IPDU.
4. Click OK.
To delete anoutlet group:
1. Click the Delet e button.
2. Select the group name you want to delete.
3. Click OK.

An administrator ca n select Expert -Applica tions - PMD Configu ration - Users Managemen t to
configure users to access out lets.
The listed users are authorized to access and cont rol the outlets specified unde rth e Outlets
heading.
To authorize a userfor IPD U powerm anagement:
1. Select Expert -Applicatio ns -PMD Configuration -U sersMan agement.
2. Click Add. The Add /Edit PM Users dialog bo x appears.
