NOTE: Virtualpor ts (virtualization) are not supported by IPv6.
To configurehost settings [Expert]from the General form:
1. Go to Network - Ho st Settings. The H ost Settings - General form appears.
2. Select Dual-Stack,IPv4 or IPv6 from the Mod e pull-down menu .
NOTE: IfD ual-Stack isselected, both IPv4 and IPv6 willr emaina ctiveand will run concurrently. SelectingIPv4 will
disableIPv6, and selectingIPv6 will disableIPv4 in the Host Settings form.
3. Enter the name assigned to th e IPadd ressof the co nsole server in the Host Name field.
4. Enter a console banner in the Con sole Banner field.
5. Enter the Primary DNS Server IP address.
6. Enter the Secondary DNS Server IP address, if used.
7. Enter the domain in th e Domain Name field.
8. When finished, c lick apply changes.
To configureI Pv4protocol:
1. If IPv4 is enabled (tab is act ive) select the IPv4 tab. The IPv4 form wil l be displayed.
2. If configuring IPv4 usin g DHCP is desired, cli ck the DHCP checkbox.
NOTE: IfD HCP isenab led,all other fields on the form will not be displayed.
3. Under Ethernet Port, co mplete or edit th e following fiel ds as necessary.
