Powering on

To power on the FortiGate-800 unit

1Make sure that the power switch on the back is turned off.

2Connect the power cable to the power connection on the back of the FortiGate unit.

3Connect the power cable to a power outlet.

4Turn on the power switch.

After a few seconds, SYSTEM STARTING appears on the LCD.

MAIN MENU appears on the LCD when the system is running.
