Troubleshooting process
| The troubleshooting process is a systematic approach that addresses the primary problems first, | ||
| and then other problems, to discover the causes for MFP malfunctions and errors. The “Basic | ||
| troubleshooting process flow” on page 113 illustrates the primary steps for troubleshooting. An | ||
| answer to a troubleshooting question allows troubleshooting to proceed to the next primary step. | ||
| When answers indicate that additional testing and correction is needed, go to the appropriate | ||
| section in this chapter and follow the directions there. After completing the additional testing and | ||
| correcting the problem, proceed to the next primary step. | ||
