Note	If a duplex accessory is installed, remove it to access the right-side cover mounting screw.

1Remove one screw (callout 1) from the scan-unit left-side cover.

2Gently pry the rounded top edge of the cover (callout 2) with a flatblade screwdriver until you can grasp it.
