ADF separation pad

1Open the ADF cover.

2Press and release two separation locking tabs (callout 1; shown already released).

3Rotate the separation pad until it is perpendicular to the product.

4Release the separation-pad arms (callout 2) by gently pressing them toward the ADF cover.

Note	When replacing the separation pad, verify that the spring is firmly seated on its pedestal (callout 3).
