Control-panel door

1Open the control-panel door, and remove the print cartridge. Cover the print cartridge to keep it out of direct light; see the HP LaserJet 4100 series printer service manual for print- cartridge information.

2Press the two tabs (callout 1) on the inside of the print-cartridge lever to release it.

3Remove one screw (callout 2).

4Remove the wire-harness plastic cover (callout 3).
