Selecting the Record Mode

✤The Record Mode function works in both Camera and Player (VP-D451i/D453i/D454i/D455i only) modes.

✤This Camcorder records and plays back in SP (standard play) mode and in LP (long play) mode.

-SP (standard play): This mode permits 60 minutes of recording time with a DVM60 tape.

-LP (long play): This mode permits 90 minutes of recording time with a DVM60 tape.

✤La función Record Mode <Modo Grab.> está operativa en las modalidades Camera y Player (Sólo VP-D451i/D453i/D454i/D455i).

✤Esta videocámara graba y reproduce en las modalidades SP (duración estándar) y LP (larga duración).

-SP (duración estándar): esta modalidad permite 60 minutos de grabación en una cinta DVM60.

1. Set the Power switch to CAMERA or PLAYER.

2.Set the Mode switch to TAPE. (VP-D453(i)/D454(i)/D455(i) only)

3.Press the MENU button.

■ The menu list will appear.

4.Move the Menu selector to the left or right to select Record, then press the Menu selector.

5.Move the Menu selector to the left or right to select Rec Mode, then press the Menu selector.

7.To exit, press the MENU button.

■ We recommend that you use this Camcorder to play

back any tapes recorded on this Camcorder.

Playing back a tape recorded in other equipment may produce mosaic shaped distortion.

■When you record a tape in SP and LP modes, or LP mode only, the playback picture may be distorted or the time code may not be written properly if there is a gap between scenes.

■Record using SP mode for best picture and sound quality.

1.Coloque el interruptor Power en CAMERA o PLAYER.

2.Coloque el interruptor Mode en TAPE. (Sólo VP-D453(i)/D454(i)/D455(i))

3.Pulse el botón MENU.

■Aparece la lista del menú.

4.Mueva el Selector de menú a la izquierda o a la derecha hasta seleccionar Record <Grabar> y pulse el Selector de menú.

5.Mueva el Selector de menú a la izquierda o a la derecha hasta seleccionar Rec Mode <Modo Grab.> y pulse el Selector de menú.

6.Mueva el Selector de menú a la izquierda o a la derecha hasta seleccionar la modalidad de grabación (SP o LP) y pulse el Selector de menú.

7.Para salir, pulse el botón MENU.

■Aparecerá el icono seleccionado.

■Recomendamos utilizar esta videocámara para reproducir las cintas grabadas con ella.

Si se reproducen cintas grabadas con otra videocámara se puede producir una distorsión en forma de mosaico.

■Si graba una cinta en las modalidades SP y LP, o si sólo graba en LP, puede que la imagen reproducida aparezca distorsionada o que los códigos de tiempo no aparezcan escritos correctamente entre las escenas.

■Grabe en la modalidad SP para obtener una imagen y una calidad de sonido mejores.
