Relationship between File Type Specified and File Type Used When Sending E-mail
The relationship between the file type specified when scanning originals and the
file type converted into when sending e-mail or storing files is shown below by
scan type.
*1 When Gray Scale is used, the file format is converted to JPEG when [Standard], [High],
or [Low] is selected for [Compression (Gray Scale)] in [Scan Settings], and TIFF when [Off]
is selected.
Note
rFiles are stored in single-page style. When sending files by e-mail, you can se-
lect single-page style or multi-page style.
rWhen multi-page TIFF is specified for the files saved in JPEG format, they are
automatically changed to PDF.
