Programs
You can store frequently used set-
tings in the machine memory and re-
call them for future use.
Note
rYou can store up to 10 programs
for the scanner mode.
rYou can use the settings stored in
program No.10 as the initial mode
by selecting [Program No.10] in
[Change Initial Mode] in [Scanner Fea-
tures].
rPrograms are not deleted by turn-
ing the power off or by pressing
the {Clear Modes} key. They are de-
leted only when you delete or
overwrite them with another pro-
gram.
rThe items which can be stored as a
program are as follows: the scan
settings, 1 sided/2 sided original,
Top to Top/Top to Bottom, Last
Page, Original Feed Type, File
Type, and Batch/SADF.

Storing a Program

AEdit the settings so all functions
you want to store in this program
are selected.
BMake sure the {Scanner} key is se-
lected, press the {Program} key.
CPress [Register].
DPress the program number you
want to use.
Note
rProgram numbers with m al-
ready have settings in them.
EEnter the program name with the
letter keys on the display panel.
You can enter up to 40 characters.

Note
rIf it is not necessary to enter the
program name, proceed to step
F.
FPress [OK].
When the settings are successfully
stored, m appears on the left side
of the registered program number
and the program name appears on
the right side. The display returns
to the initial display after a mo-
ment.
