The Regulator Drive outputs (Reg INC and Reg DEC on schematics) drive a 2-Wire Motor Valve (generally referred to as Servo, Flow Control Valve or Electric Pressure Regulating Valve).

To increase Flow the controller applies 12 Volts to Pin-1 and Gnd to Pin-2 of the connector (Figure 12-1). To decrease flow the controller applies Gnd to Pin-1 and 12 Volts to Pin-2. The polarity is constantly changing while the controller adjusts the valve to maintain the desired flow rate.
