9.3.2 Drive circuit of transport motor

The transport motor is a DC brushless motor. At color printing modes with thick paper or OHP film, the transport speed is lowered to 1/2, 1/3 or 1/4 depending on its mode for most effective fusing.

The following is the block diagram of the transport motor.
