Parameters

<ip addr>a

IP address of the remote network or station.

aDotted-decimal notation

eth ip translate

Controls Network Address Translation on a per-interface basis; it allows several PCs to share a single IP address to the Internet. To read more about NAT, refer to Network Address Translation (NAT)” on page 4-17of the Technical Reference Guide.

<interface>a,b

Indicates whether Network Address Translation is on or off for this Ethernet interface.

Ethernet interface.

aThis parameter may be omitted if the router has only one Ethernet interface.

If the router has two physical Ethernet interfaces (an Ethernet hub router), the port number (0 or 1) must be specified.

bTo specify a logical interface other than logical interface 0, specify both the port number and the logical interface number (<port #>:<logical #>, for example, 0:1).

Examples

The following command enables Network Address Translation for port 0.

-> eth ip translate on

The following command disables Network Address Translation for logical interface 0:1.

-> eth ip translate off 0:1
