Parameters

<ident>a	SPID for the IPSec tunnel.
<saname>a	Name of the IPSec SA.b

aASCII string

bTo see the IPSec SA names in use, use the ipsec list command.

Example

-> ipsec set ident 424242 show_rx

Response

Command prompt.

ipsec set mode

Selects the encapsulation mode (tunnel or transport) for the SA.

ipsec set mode <tunnel transport> <saname>

Parameters

tunnel trans- port

<saname>a

Encapsulation method required for the connection. The default value is TUNNEL.

Name of the IPsec SA to which the encapsulation mode param- eter is added.a
