1-6-1 Network Installation Procedure

(1)

Note For details on the network installation procedure, refer to the DeviceNet Oper- ation Manual (W267). Only a general description is given here.

Determine a suitable baud rate for the system.

Determine the node arrangement, the wiring configura- tion, and the cable lengths.

A)Restrictions on lengths of trunk lines and branch lines and total drop line length. (Selection of thick cables or thin cables)
