TosetupanI/O,youmustdothefollowing:
1. I nstallthe I/O option module following the instructions providedwith the
product.
2. Use t he displayto select which IOX option is installed.
3. Use t he displayto configure each individual input and output. Youcan
also use SMS to configureinputs and outputs.
NOTE: Afterselecting which IOX option is installed, you cant configure themoduleuntil you have savedthe changes. After saving the changes, youthencan configuret he inputsand outputs.

43.Youneed t o knowthe position number of the I/O to set it up. See I/O Point
Numberson page 186 to determinet hisnumber. To set up an I/O,follow
these steps:
1. From the Main Menu, select Setup.
The passwordprompt displays.
2. Select your password. The default passwordis 0.
The Setup menu displays.
3. Select I/O.
TheI/OSetupmenudisplays.
NOTE: Other optionmodules will be displayed in the I/O menu if theyare installed
4. Select the I/O option that you have installed.In this example, we selected
the I/O Extender.
