Youcan access the read and write register menu option on the circuit
monitorsdisplay by selecting from the Main Menu > Diagnostics > Read/
WriteRegs as shown in Figure 39.This option lets you read and writecircuit
monitorregisters from the display.This capability is most usefulto users who
1) need to set up an advancedfeature which is beyond the circuit monitors
normal frontpanel setup mode, and 2) do not have accessto SMS to s et up
the feature.
Forexample, the default operating mode for a circuitmonitor relay output is

normal

. Tochange a relays operating modefrom normal to another mode
(forexample, latched mode), use either SMS or the Read/WriteRegs option
of the Diagnosticsmenu.

NOTE: Use this feature with caution. Writing an in correct value, or writing to

the wrong registercould affect the intended operation of the circuit monitor

or its accessories.

Toread or write registers, follow these steps:
1. From the Main Menu, select Diagnostics.
The Diagnosticsmenu displays.
2. Select Read/Write Regs.
The passwordprompt displays.
3. Select your password. The default passwordis 0.
The Read/Write Registersscreen displays. Table311 describes the
options on this screen.
