To set u p RS-485,RS-232,or the infrared port communications, setthe
address, baudrate, and parity. Followthese steps:
1. From the Main Menu, select Setup > Communications.
The CommunicationsSetup screen displays.
NOTE: Youcan set up infraredcommunications only if the circuit monitoris equipped with a VFD display.Also, you can set up Ethernet
communicationsonly if the circuit monitor is equipped with an ECC card.
2. From the Comms Setup menu, select the type of communications that
you are using.Depending on what you select, the screen for that
communicationssetup displays,as shown below.Table 32describes the
options on thismenu.
3. Use t he arrowbuttons to scroll to the menu option you want to change.
4. Press the enter button to select the value.Thevalue begins to blink. Use
the arrow buttonsto scroll through the available values.Then, press the
enter buttonto select the new value.
5. Use the arrow buttons to scroll throughthe other options on the menu, or
if you are finished,press the menu button to save.
