Description
Automatically zoom in on largest signal at input.
10 OUTPUT 723;"AUTOMEAS;"
The AUTOMEAS command causes the optical spectrum analyzer to automatically locate the largest input signal. When the command is executed, the optical spectrum analyzer resets to the full wavelength span. Then, the largest signal is located, and the span is reduced to observe this signal. If the AUTOMMKR command is set to ON, the automatic measurement routine nds the signal that is closest to the current marker.
Use the AUTOMSP command to set the nal reduced span used by the automatic measurement routine. Use the AUTOMDB command to set the nal vertical scale set by the automatic measurement routine. Use the AUTOMOPT command to cause the AUTOMEAS function to optimize the sensitivity.
An error is generated if a signal is not detected, and the instrument returns to its previous state.
