Description The MKTV command speci￿es the amplitude variance monitored by the marker-tracking function (MKTRACK) to determine the proper signal to track.

With each sweep, the marker-tracking function veri￿es that the marker is kept on the same signal by comparing the amplitude of the currently marked signal to the amplitude of the signal marked during the previous sweep. If the two amplitudes are not within the tracking-variance limit, the marker is moved to an adjacent signal and amplitudes are compared again. Reduce the marker-tracking variance when tracking a signal that has an amplitude close to the level of the other signals in the measurement range.
