SAVET stores the contents of trace A in a ￿le in user memory, which is the currently selected mass storage device. Unless speci￿ed otherwise by the MSI command, internal memory is the storage device. Files are listed in the catalog by default as \t N", where N is the number of the ￿le, and \t " indicates the ￿le contains a trace array. For example, the entry for SAVET

2 is listed in the catalog as \t 2". Use the PREFX command to change the \t " pre￿x from its default setting to another combination of letters. (Press

NStateNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN, NrecallNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN, NcatalogNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN to view the catalog of user memory.) Use the

RCLT or LOAD command to recall ￿le contents. Use PURGE or DISPOSE to erase ￿les. Use PROTECT to prevent inadvertent ￿le erasure from internal memory only. The PROTECT command does not protect trace ￿les against erasure or overwriting with the PURGE, ERASE, or LOAD command.
