The CLRW command enables the clear-write mode, which continuously measures and stores any signals present at the spectrum-analyzer input port when the trigger conditions for the sweep are met. If the spectrum analyzer has a display, measurement results are continuously displayed during the clear-write mode. CLRW operates on trace A, B, or C. CLRW initially clears the selected trace, setting the amplitude of all trace elements equal to the bottom graticule-line value. The trigger then signals the start of the sweep and the trace is updated continuously as the sweep progresses.
