RB
Description The RB command sets the resolution bandwidth. During normal operation, the resolution bandwidth, sweep time, and span settings are coupled to yield
specied amplitude and wavelength accuracy with maximum measurement speed. Whenever any of these settings are changed, this optimum coupling is overridden, but the optical spectrum analyzer continues to maintain specied accuracy whenever possible. The uncalibrated warning, \UNCAL" is displayed whenever the new selection aects amplitude or wavelength accuracy.
Operation is as follow:
If resolution bandwidth is set to automatic, the resolution bandwidth changes as the span changes according to the ratio set by RBR. If RB MAN is executed, or if the resolution bandwidth is selected with RB, the resolution bandwidth does not change with span.
If the sweep time is set to automatic, the sweep time changes as the resolution bandwidth changes.
