STARTUP

Controls the start up con￿guration operation of the optical spectrum analyzer.

Default (no argument)

ONCE

C A U T I O N

The STARTUP MAN and STARTUP ONCE commands both result in the

loss of any internal user calibration data when the system restarts. This is

 

 

because the data is part of the con￿guration. In addition, STARTUP MAN and

 

STARTUP ONCE both force the POWERON command into IP if it was in LAST.

The ￿rst time the the optical spectrum analyzer is turned on, it establishes and checks the communications links with the display. Thereafter, these con￿guration steps are skipped at turn on, unless the MMS con￿guration has changed.

Argument

AUTO

The default operation which performs an automatic MMS

 

con￿guration the ￿rst time the instrument is turned on.

MAN

Forces the system to recon￿gure at each power up.

ONCE

Forces the system to recon￿gure. After the recon￿guration, the

 

value of reverts to AUTO.

For both STARTUP MAN and STARTUP AUTO, no e￿ect is seen until the next power cycle. When the STARTUP ONCE command is executed, the
